Project abstract: As required in Utah Code 23-21, the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR) has developed a Habitat Management Plan for the Howard Slough Waterfowl Management Area. The plan provides background information on the property, discusses habitat conditions and recreational uses, and identifies annual maintenance activities. It also identifies wildlife species information, and habitat restoration and enhancement opportunities that UDWR would like to accomplish within the next 5-10 years. Also included are maps of boundaries, access, and land ownership.

The Habitat Management Plan Executive Summary is attached. Please see the attached entire plan for more detailed information.

The property consists of approximately 3,920 acres, including both fee title lands and State of Utah sovereign lands administered by the Utah Division of Forestry, Fire and State Lands, and managed by the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources.
Local government's response? The meeting with Davis County Commission occurred on May 8th, and we don't yet have a record of the county response.
How is the local government(s) likely to be impacted? It is not clear that local government will be impacted at all by this HMP.
Possible significant impacts likely to occur: No significant adverse effects are foreseen.
