Project abstract: o The BLM, USFS, and DOE released the Regions 2 and 3 corridor abstracts. Comments on or before February 23, 2018. The purpose of the abstracts is to assemble as complete and current an understanding as possible of each corridor under review. The abstracts summarize why the corridor was designated, describe energy infrastructure it already contains, and identify potential resource conflicts (by corridor milepost) that may limit future energy development within the corridor. A webinar is scheduled for January 24, 2018, to support release of the abstracts.
o Stakeholders will be notified at least 15 days in advance of any meetings, webinars, or solicitations for input. Additional opportunities for stakeholder involvement will be available throughout the Region 2 and 3 Regional Review. Those opportunities include in-person meetings tentatively planned for late spring.
The review includes 53 energy corridors situated in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah. The agencies will also hold a webinar on January 24, 2018, to provide an orientation to the review process. Draft energy corridor abstracts are available
